Import from TV Time
Coming from TV Time? Orion can import your followed shows and your entire episode-by-episode watch history from TV Time’s official data export.
1. Request your data from TV Time
Section titled “1. Request your data from TV Time”In the TV Time app: Settings → General → Download my data (this is TV Time’s GDPR export). TV Time emails you a download link — it can take a day or two to arrive.
2. Find the two files that matter
Section titled “2. Find the two files that matter”The export contains a folder of CSV files. Orion needs exactly two:
followed_tv_show.csv— the shows you followtracking-prod-records-v2.csv— your watch history
3. Import
Section titled “3. Import”- In Orion, open Settings → Import from TV Time.
- Upload both files.
- Wait for the import to finish — for a large history this can take a few minutes, since Orion syncs every show’s full episode list to match your history against.
What the import does
Section titled “What the import does”- Maps each TV Time show to its TMDB entry and follows it.
- Marks every episode from your history as watched.
- Shows that appear only in your watch history (you watched them but no longer follow them) are imported as archived — history preserved, but they won’t clutter Up Next.
- It’s idempotent: running it again won’t duplicate anything, so it’s safe to re-import if something looks off.
After importing
Section titled “After importing”Check your Library — your shows and progress should be there, and Up Next should already point at the right episodes. A handful of very obscure titles can fail to map from TV Time’s catalog to TMDB; add those manually via Search.
