In Theaters

In Theaters shows what’s playing right now and what’s releasing soon, so you can follow a movie before it’s even out.

Getting there

Tap See what’s in theaters from the Search or Library movies tab, or go directly to /theaters.

Region

The listing is filtered by region, set by your Orion instance’s administrator (or the US if nothing’s configured). There’s no per user region picker. If you want showtimes filtered to your exact location instead of a whole country, see Cinema showtimes, which uses your postal code or precise location.

Following from the listing

Each poster has an Add button, just like Search. Tap it to follow a movie straight from the listing without leaving the page. Movies you already follow show Added instead.

Note

This shows what’s playing where, not showtimes at a specific cinema. Orion doesn’t integrate with individual theater chains or box office listings.
